Zoe was left behind after a move, with one visit a day at the otherwise empty house to meet the most basic of her daily needs. Zoe spent a brief few days in emergency boarding until a suitable foster could be lined up and she adapted very well throughout, likely grateful for the kind human companionship she had been missing.
This pretty girl is a Dogue de Bordeaux mix of about 5 or 6 years of age and approximately 100 pounds who was raised with children. She has been very comfortable with everyone she has met, and was also used to living with a cat. Zoe enjoys her walks and chilling outside, but is a true couch potato indoors. She knows her basic commands and is described as a happy and gentle dog. Zoe is good with other dogs, but prefers the quiet and calm traits of mature dogs. We feel that Zoe’s perfect home will be one that does not leave her alone for extended periods of time. Cats, a calm dog, and older children are fine too, although she would also make a great companion for a single person or a couple. Having arrived in a somewhat neglected state, Zoe behaved quite nicely while she had her nails clipped and she had an appointment at the spa.
Please complete an adoption questionnaire if Zoe sounds like the kind of new best friend you’ve been waiting for.
