Introducing Ed, a very strikingly handsome mix who came to us as an unclaimed stray at a rural pound. He weighs about 60 pounds, seems to be between 2 and 3 years old, and the general consensus is that he might have some Greyhound in him.
Being a country boy, Ed has had to adjust to life at his suburban foster home, including getting used to things like bicycles, motorcycles, and cars. Ed’s fosters have been working on his leash manners and he has made great improvements. He shares his foster home with a cat and a small dog, and gets along well with both, but care must still be taken when meeting other dogs while on leash. He enjoyed a recent camping trip with his foster family, and would make a great hiking and camping buddy. Reflective of his foster home environment, Ed is very calm and well behaved in the house, and is used to staying home while his fosters go to work.
Ed’s ideal home will be experienced and active, and we feel that a more quiet suburban, semi-rural or rural environment with less traffic would suit him best. Please complete an adoption questionnaire if you’re interested in offering Ed a forever home.
