Daisy’s story begins with her being found on a country road chasing the car that probably dumped her; she was not microchipped and all attempts to find her owner were fruitless. Likely a mix of Lab and Great Dane, Daisy is estimated to be no more than a year old. It’s obvious that she received no training, but her foster is teaching her proper canine etiquette, both in the house and on leash.
Daisy stayed with her original rescuer for a little while before coming to Kiko to make sure nobody was looking for her. She was around young children as well as cats without any issues, although she was a bit scared of the cats. Daisy is now in a Kiko foster home, gets along well with the other dog there, and overall has a very nice temperament. Already a big girl yet still so young, Daisy’s adopters will have to be prepared to continue with her training. She would probably be better suited to an experienced dog owner and dog-savvy children. Daisy is very energetic and playful, but also settles down nicely on the sofa with her foster dad and brother to relax and watch a movie once she’s well exercised.
