Candy came to us about a month ago, but we needed a little time to get to know her in order to make sure we find her the right home. This stunning brindle beauty was born December 30, 2016 and weighs about 40 pounds. She’s supposed to be a mix of Lab and Husky but who knows, there could be more in her breed mix.
As to how she came to Kiko, it seems her original owner didn’t want her anymore so someone else took her, but that only lasted a couple of days because she was way too interested in the cat. Candy is very energetic, friendly and good with other dogs.
Candy met several potential adopters at the Beaconsfield Pet Fair, but she had just arrived and not gone into foster care yet. Anyone still interested in offering Candy a forever home, including new applicants, are invited to come and meet her at Mon Ami this Saturday October 14, where her foster mom will be able to tell you more about her. If you have not already provided us with your information, please feel free to complete an adoption questionnaire on our website.
