Our latest arrival at Kiko is Beamer, who was very sadly surrendered to our care due to barking in the apartment when left alone. The little 2.5-year-old, who was a much loved pet, was originally purchased as a mix of Maltese and Yorkie from a breeder when he was just a puppy.
We’re still getting to know Beamer, but things are going very well so far. He’s getting along quite well with the two Chihuahuas in his foster home, even curling up with one in a doggie bed, and has not paid much attention to the cat. Beamer is very affectionate and loves to snuggle under a blanket with his person.
Due to the barking when left alone, we’re looking for a home where he will not be left alone for extended periods of time. Another small or dog or two to keep him company will also be a definite plus, and he would obviously not be suitable for an apartment.
Please complete an adoption questionnaire if you are interested in adopting Beamer.
